I'm a triathlete and picked up the yellow's about 3 months after I started learning how to swim. I've purchased the next size up every 4-6 months or so and have found these paddles to be excellent. I can't flip-turn with these on (my fault, not the paddles'), and I did crack 1 paddle in the palm area because of repeated contact on the turns. Other than that, these are great.
Arrived quickly, and are great! My coach recommends these highly and although they are challenging to use at first, make a big difference. Go for it!
